Shadeform (“Shadeform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates shadeformhome.com. Shadeform is operated by LILY KNOCHEL HJ INC, 223 E Main St, Evans City, PA 16033, United States.

This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our site, create an account, place an order, contact us, or otherwise interact with Shadeform. We sell and ship only within the United States.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information collected automatically.

Information you provide:

  • Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number
  • Order details, product selections, and customer-service messages
  • Account login details, if you create an account
  • Payment details, which are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full credit-card numbers on our own servers
  • Emails sent to service@shadeformhome.com, including return and warranty requests

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and general location derived from IP
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and date and time of visits
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
  • Approximate shipping-zone information needed to calculate tax and shipping

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers through the storefront. Business tax records are kept only as required for company operations and are not collected from shoppers at checkout.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and track orders
  • Calculate sales tax and shipping
  • Communicate about orders, returns, refunds, and customer service
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents

  • Shipping carriers and label services, such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or similar
  • Email and customer-service tools
  • Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google, if enabled
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, when required
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety, and the store

These parties are not permitted to use your information to market their own products except as described in their own policies, or as required to provide services to us.

We may transfer information in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If that happens, we will take reasonable steps to keep the information protected.

5. Advertising and Google

If we connect the store to Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, or Google Ads, Google may receive product, order, and device data as described in Google’s policies. You can learn more and opt out of certain Google ads at Google’s ad settings.

We do not control third-party sites linked from our pages. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • Order, shipping, tax, and accounting records: generally at least 7 years, or longer if the law requires
  • Customer-service correspondence: as long as needed to resolve the issue and keep a business record
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe
  • Cookies: according to each cookie’s lifespan or until you delete them

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit on checkout pages provided by Shopify. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong unique password if you create an account.

8. Your choices

You may:

  • Update account details in your store account, if you have one
  • Email service@shadeformhome.com to correct information or request a copy of information we hold about you
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email
  • Request that we delete information we are not required to keep
  • Control cookies through your browser

We will verify requests before fulfilling them. We may keep information needed for orders, taxes, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

9. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, if we engage in that activity
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To submit a request, email service@shadeformhome.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” You may use an authorized agent as allowed by law. We will verify your identity before responding.

Categories we may collect include identifiers (name, email, address, phone, IP), commercial information (orders and products), internet activity (site usage), and inferences used to improve the store. We disclose these categories to service providers listed in section 4.

If we use advertising cookies that California treats as “sharing,” you may opt out by emailing service@shadeformhome.com or by using any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link we display on the site.

10. Other U.S. state rights

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others as they take effect, may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email service@shadeformhome.com to exercise those rights.

11. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, email service@shadeformhome.com and we will delete it.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for responding to it. We treat legally recognized opt-out preference signals as required by applicable state law.

13. International visitors

We ship only within the United States. If you visit the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

14. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
